Annual graduation ceremonies

Client Brief

The School of Advanced Studies (SAS) graduation is an annual event taking place at Senate House. Assemble Events were approached by the school to fully manage and deliver the 2023 ceremony for post-graduate students as resources to deliver were not available internally. 

Our Approach

We created a detailed project plan to manage all aspects of the graduation ceremonies including:

• VIP liaison 

• Creating a project plan and delivery timeline

• Setting up and managing registration, ticketing and robing with an external supplier

• Coordinating all event logistics including the ceremony and reception

• Liaising with internal teams

• Communications with eligible students

• Preparing reading lists

Event Impact

• Over 100 post-graduate students attend the ceremony

• Provided SAS with a blueprint from which to run future ceremonies
